Characteristics of Pile Models Injected by Low-Pressure-Injection Laboratory Setup for Chemical Improving Loose Sandy Soil

The jet grouting method for soil improvement is a novel geotechnical alternative enhancing problematic soils where traditional foundation designs cannot provide sustainable solutions. paper methodology was based on improving loose fine sandy using silica fume as chemical additive added (with 10 percent of the cement weight) to water and Portland mixes with different W/C ratios produce pile models injected by low-pressure injection laboratory setup that designed locally manufactured this purpose. design inspired previous research works, its performance validated systematically performing unconfined compression tests (UCTs) samples laboratory-injected models. Based UCTs results, high determination coefficient (R 2 ) mathematical were developed related mixtures basic parameters (cohesion, friction angle, elasticity modulus) grouted models, validating efficiency.
